I studied architecture at Bauhaus University Weimar and media architecture at the SUNY Buffalo, supervised by Prof. Omar Khan.
I worked at Andreas Thiele Architects, Berlin, where I gained experience as a professional architect. I was involved in a variety of projects including large- and small-scale residential development as well as office design, art gallery design and furniture design.
My professional and research interests consist of not only architecture but also the position of technology and media. I possess skills in several multi-media programming languages as well as sensor-based automata.
I seek to explore new boundaries of architecture and material environment. I explore architecture as progenitor of new living that emphasizes environmental consciousness as well as technological potentials. My practice includes not only architecture, but also the systems and applications that augment conventional architectural environment and objects. My work is driven by my keen interest in the functional aspects of “intelligent” spaces; new concepts of interaction in space; and the development of innovative information systems.
I am pleased to announce that I was chosen again to participate in the Bauhausfest. As part the Interdisciplinary Performance Collective I will contribute to the performance Body | Senses | Space. More info’s coming soon.

This summer I will be co-teaching the course “Architecture of Soundscape Berlin” with Sang Lee. The students will learn how to read, sample and represent an urban place by means of its sonic qualities and how to transition between media through drawings and construction. Our goal is to create a performative object to be install in Berlin by the end of the course.

As part of the ReDI School of Digital Integration I am leading the workshop “Future City”. With this studio-based workshop we want to help develop the creativity and imagination of young inventors. The kids are introduced to real world problems and encouraged to apply critical thinking skills as well as creative problem solving skills to develop their own solutions. The young innovators learn new technologies, robotics and a range of digital tools such as laser cutting and programming to create their own work.
